Its winter and the cool weather in FL is helping her eczema. She has not experience a flare up in about 1 month and that’s good because we have done little to her skin. We are trying to let her immune system fight the eczema but when she sweat her eczema is more prone to flare up. She is having less and less flare ups year after year and I can’t tell if she is growing out of it or if it’s the Via.
We just came from the skating ring and the kids had fun. I’m sure she sweat because I was and she had on a long sleeve. No flare ups yet so that’s a good sign. I might put some Via on her skin just to prevent any flare ups. If you have eczema you need to at least try Via. As I mentioned before I have some extra sample packs and will send them to you so see if it help the type of eczema you have.

I see in your blog that you were just going to let her immune system fight the eczema..eczema is caused from an overactive immune system..in people with eczema their immune system's response to allergens or "triggers" is what causes the flare ups..so letting her immune system fight the eczema would not really work.
ReplyDeleteYou are correct and I stand corrected. I guess what I should have said was we are trying to remove her from thing that she is allergic too and hope her immune system don’t go crazy. She is also prone to flare ups when she overheats and sweat. Thank you for correcting me.
